This accessibility statement applies to the SSHP Cymru Training Hub:  https://www.sshp.wales

This website is run by the NHS Wales Health Collaborative. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and font
  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).[CC(WHC1]

We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.  AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Accessibility on this website is guided by government standards and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). WCAG are widely accepted as the international standard for accessibility on the web.

Whilst we aim to make this website accessible to all users and achieve a WCAG 2.1 conformance level ‘AA’; we continually work with stakeholders to ensure that conformance level ‘A’ is adhered to as a minimum.[CC(WHC2]

Language Accessibility

  • 3.1.2 Language of Parts – Parts of text had been used in alternate languages (English and Welsh), without having their programmatic language changed for assistive technologies. There are services, including SSHP Cymru, which include Welsh as part of their name.  We have not included any markup on this wording as the names are intentionally known in Welsh.  Please be aware of this if you are using assistive technology to access our site.
